2026 WORKSHOPS
Explore this year's unique workshop experiences:
THE ART OF LEADING KIRTAN
with Mayana & Vikash of Ananda
Explore the foundations of kirtan leadership. Whether you feel called to lead, are just beginning, or want deeper exposure, this workshop blends practical tools, guided group singing, and real-time coaching. Includes Sargam exercises for warming and grounding, call-and-response kirtan, and one-on-one coaching moments focused on your next steps in kirtan-leading growth.
MANTRA MEDICINE
with Swarananda
Discover the power of raising your vibration — and the collective vibration — through mantra chanting. Opening with a rolling Om, this workshop moves through a carefully chosen sequence of mantras with extended meditations held by the drone of singing bowls. The potency lies in simple mantra, long breath, slow chanting, and connection to source.
EARTH-HELD RESONANCE:
A Deep Vibrational Journey with Sitka & Stillness
Rooted in Bhakti Yoga, this immersive experience weaves sacred storytelling (Katha) with mantra, moving from the active "fire" of chanting into deep absorption of frequency. Guided by alchemy bowls and gongs, you'll train your awareness to rest within a sacred container of pure resonance.
THROAT CHAKRA AWAKENING
with Naad Yogi Gurnimit Singh
Unlock the sacred power of your voice. This lineage-based exploration of Vishuddhi practices invites you to work with your voice as a vehicle for sacred expression, power, and transformation. Gurnimit offers practices many have never encountered before, awakening new possibilities in voice and expression. Through precise, embodied techniques, you'll discover how to honor your voice's aesthetics, its power, and its sacred function as a gateway to authentic expression.

HOW THE FESTIVAL HAS TOUCHED HEARTS:

MISSION STATEMENT
High on Love Bhakti Festival is a collaborative devotional gathering celebrating life in gratitude for our ever-present connection to the Divine. We create an uplifting experience for both practitioners and those who are curious about the Bhakti path of yoga, offering immersion in sacred practices including devotional music, mantra chanting, prayer, and meditation.

WHAT IS BHAKTI?
Bhakti means "devotion" or "love" in Sanskrit, stemming from the root word "bhaj" which means "to serve God." As one of yoga's primary paths, Bhakti Yoga guides practitioners toward spiritual liberation through heartfelt devotion to the divine.
The ancient Narada Bhakti Sutra describes bhakti as "the most elevated, pure love for God," a practice that leads to profound peace and spiritual immortality.
Through devotional music, mantra chanting, and prayer, bhakti practitioners cultivate a deep connection with the divine, ultimately seeking union (yoga) with the beloved.

EVERYONE WELCOME!
High on Love Bhakti Festival warmly invites everyone to join in the celebration of life and devotion, regardless of background or experience. Whether you're a dedicated student of Bhakti Yoga or simply curious about the path of divine love, our gathering offers a sacred space to explore mantra chanting, kirtan, prayer, and meditation. Participation in these practices or simply witnessing them is equally welcome, as we unite in gratitude and connection to the Divine.

High on Love's Spiritual Lineage Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that we walk an ancient path whose origins come from a culture different from our own ancestral roots. We honor teachers of Indian ancestry, and those from other backgrounds, who have dedicated their lives to sharing their wisdom with countless seekers who walked this path before us and those who journey alongside us.
Our knowledge of yoga is but a drop in a vast ocean of ancient wisdom, millennia deep. Nothing that we know, learn, or share about yoga belongs to us. We are part of a living tradition of teachers and students who continue to practice yogic living, passing on this way of being in the world.
May we know truth. May we know unity. May we know Divine Love.
We are eternally grateful to our lineage of teachers at the Himalayan Institute for their dedication to preserving the authentic teachings of yoga and for embodying the essence of yogic living.

"The High on Love Festival last year was a catalyst that sparked immense change in my life by bringing new pieces of community into my life.
I found it to be a gentle, warm, and welcoming community space that was deeply supportive in me exploring and tapping into a deeper level of devotion. I saw and experienced strangers encouraging and building each other up to chant and dance even if they didn't know the words.
This festival is perfect for people no matter where on the spectrum they fall, from those who may not even know what bhakti means, all the way to those deeply rooted in devotional practices."
